I ran across this website showing different plaques. This one plaque found at the mouth of Burritt Alley in San Francisco honors Sam Spade/Miles Archer. The inscription is a spoiler, so if you haven't read The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett, or seen the movie starring Humphrey Bogart, be aware of that fact.
